My eighth grade year was coming to an end and I knew exactly where I would be going for high school. I wanted to go to Foothill, and my parents wanted me to go to Foothill as well. So the decision was made I would be attending Foothill Technology High School.
I knew from the very beginning I would be going to Foothill. The main reason for me knowing right away was because my older sister was already going here, and she really liked it. Another reason is that my parents really wanted me to go to Foothill. I heard so many good things about Foothill and I knew it was a great school, and I didn't really want to go to Ventura High School, so I would be going to Foothill. I wanted to go here because of the great learning environment and education I would be getting. I was also happy to hear that a lot of my friends would be going to Foothill as well. I was really excited to be going to Foothill.
The beginning of the school year was really good for me, and I liked it a lot. It started off really good with orientation; it was pretty fun and helpful for the first day of school. Everything was going good, I liked all of my classes and I liked all of my teachers as well. Although finding my classes was hard at first, I got used to it after the first couple of days. I was so glad that all of my friends liked it here just as much as I did. The beginning of the school year started off great.
Foothill for me now is really good. I still like it here just as much, if not more. There is more homework then there was at the beginning of the school year obviously, but still not too much. I am getting all of my work done on time, which is really helpful for me. At first I thought it was going to be a little bit difficult for me, but it is not too hard. I am also really happy that all of my friends still like it here as well. I am doing pretty well in all of my classes and I hope to keep it that way. I hope the school year is this good for the rest of the year.
